Not for me to realize that you have been someone that I respect and honor along these few years. It is a painstaking moment to know that you have left us, and my tears shed when heard of this radio recording which you had done on 2007 with AI FM.
DJ: AI FM，你好？请问谁在线上？
Shamsul：主持人你好，我是Shamsul。
DJ：Shamsul，你是马来人吗？怎么讲着一口流利的华语？
Shamsul：我是ISLAM，不过我读独钟，所以会说华语。
DJ：太棒了！好，有什么要跟Kak Yasmin 说的？
Shamsul：Assaimualakum, Kak Yasmin.
Yasmin: Mualakum Salam.
Shamsul: Kak Yasmin pasti rasa terkejut ada orang Melayu yang dengar radio Mandarin.
Yasmin: Is okai, kan kita semua manusia..
"Is ok, kan kita manusia." This sentence strike my nerve and literally my tears stream down the cheek. Isn't that Malaysian we should be in this way? A unite of a nation is regardless of the races, the colour of the skin and the status of being the bumiputra of the land or not. Despite of these differences, isn't that we are the people who God has honored this land to us, and gets us to make this nation shine for HIS glory?
The 40th day of Payer for Malaysia is running. May God collects our prayer and literally rain down HIS spring rain to heal our land. I will choose not to leave this country, not to run away from this nation. I will choose to stand on my feet on this land and send my prayer to God.
God, let my nation shine for you!
